Baltimore County Germany Mission: 9/27/2007 – 10/6/2007
Baltimore County Executive Jim Smith, accompanied by representatives of the County Department of Economic Development; TowsonGlobal, Towson University’s Business Globalization Center and International Incubator; the University of Maryland Baltimore County’s technology incubator and research park; and the Maryland Department of Business and Economic Development’s European Office, led a business development mission to Germany (Oldenburg, Leipzig and Berlin) from September 27th to October 6th. The purpose of the trip was to develop concrete educational and economic ties particularly in the areas of advanced technology, research, and business development.
